By Robert Knuckle
ACTRA award-winning Playwright
Does humanity need God, does God need religion,
and does religion need organization? What sort of
strange gods demand that their own creation believe
the unbelievable?
Although Laura has agreed to marry Richard in the
Roman Catholic Church, she refuses to convert or
even to accept the teachings of the Bible. Her mandatory
marriage preparation will come from the devout and
conservative Father Manning and the progressive
yet troubled Father Dorsey. Will Laura be able to
tolerate the ideas of the church, and if so, will
the church be able to tolerate her?
This new work by award-winning Canadian playwright
Robert Knuckle promises to challenge your beliefs
and assumptions whatever they might be.
