This play is about two priests who are not what
they appear to be and a smart young woman who sees them for
what they really are.
Laura Braxton, a humanist and ardent feminist, is taking instructions
to be married in the Catholic Church. During the process, she
presents several opinions and asks many questions that set her
squarely against the one priest, her religious instructor, and
yet brings her somewhat closer to the other priest.
She postulates that organized religions have set people against
each other and seem to foster so much violence and hatred that
the GODS of these various sects must be STRANGE She also wants
to know why women are held as second class citizens in some
religions.
WARNING!
Come to this play only if you wish to enjoy a work that is
provocative, stimulating, and controversial
